Acoustic enclosures for VRF/VRV outdoor units – matched to the model
VRF systems often sit on the roofs of offices, hotels and clinics – right between windows. Our V-Series comes as a standard enclosure for each outdoor unit, with dimensions and a fixed price straight from the catalogue.

VRF outdoor units stand where people work and sleep
On the roof of an office building, in a hotel courtyard, on the terrace of a clinic: VRF and VRV systems serve many rooms with just a few outdoor units – and these usually sit right between windows.
The units discharge vertically upwards. Fan noise therefore travels straight towards the upper floors and taller neighbouring buildings, while the compressor radiates sideways. An enclosure has to damp both paths without restricting the large air volume.
- Continuous operation: heating and cooling all year round, often at night – hotels and care homes need the night limits.
- Several modules: Large systems consist of two to four outdoor units side by side whose levels add up.
- Roof installation: Wind, snow and limited load capacity constrain the construction.
- Service: The units must remain accessible from all sides for maintenance.
The V-Series: one standard enclosure per model
For the common VRF/VRV ranges, the enclosure is already designed. Choose manufacturer and model and instantly get enclosure dimensions, weight, fixed price, specification text and BIM model – no registration needed.
Matched to the model
Design standard: 800 mm clearance at the sides and 900 mm above the unit – enough room for air and service.
Tube silencers in the roof
The upward discharge runs through HSA3 tubes. They damp fan noise at a very low pressure drop.
Intake via louvres
Air flows in through acoustic louvres in the walls. Inside, the enclosure is fully lined with HSA3.
Module combinations
Up to four modules of one manufacturer under a shared enclosure, also of different sizes, with 100 mm between modules.
Base frame by others
Original base frames or roof supports (e.g. 300 mm) are supplied by the installer. We adjust the enclosure height – the frame is not included in the price.
For roof and ground
Anodised aluminium profiles 45 × 45 mm, bolted. Light enough for the roof, can be installed without a crane.

Frequently asked questions
My model is not in the catalogue – what now?
In the free configurator, enter the unit's dimensions and air volume; the enclosure is designed live and can be requested directly. Alternatively, send us the data sheet at info@forcotech.com.
Can several outdoor units share one enclosure?
Yes. Up to four modules of one manufacturer can be combined into one enclosure in the catalogue, also in different sizes. We plan 100 mm between modules. Combinations are priced with the quotation.
Is the base frame included in the price?
No. Original base frames or roof supports are provided by others. We adapt the enclosure height to the chosen frame.
Does the VRF system lose performance?
The enclosure is designed for the air volume of the respective unit. The roof tube silencer has a very low pressure drop, and supply and exhaust air are separated so that no warm or cold exhaust air is drawn in again.
How does the service engineer reach the unit?
Through service doors and removable panels. The 800 mm design clearance at the sides leaves room to work inside the enclosure.
