Optional: if the selected design does not meet the pressure drop or noise target, we suggest a different envelope or package – within this space.
Airflow and available pressure as per data sheet (nominal operation). Design standard: 800 mm from the unit to the outer edge of the enclosure in length and width, 900 mm in height for upward discharge or 100 mm for sideways discharge; for PV inverters 500 mm in length and width and 800 mm in height; air velocity max. 5 m/s, for heat pumps, chillers and dry coolers max. 7 m/s. The enclosure has no floor and is built around the equipment without contact.
Optional: from the sound power level and the distance to the nearest receiver we derive a recommendation based on the limits of the German TA Lärm noise regulation.
Surcharges under TA Lärm: heat pumps and dry coolers are often tonal (compressor, fan blade-pass tone). Walls and corners next to the unit raise the level through reflection. The rest-period surcharge (working days 6–7 am and 8–10 pm, Sundays and public holidays also 7–9 am and 1–3 pm) applies during the day in purely and general residential areas and spa areas. If the background noise from other plants is unknown, the new unit should stay 6 dB below the limit (TA Lärm no. 3.2.1).
Note: The installation situation and background noise are usually not yet known at this early planning stage. Without input, the configurator calculates without these surcharges – the result may then be too favourable. We check both in the project-specific design.
Wind zone according to DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA (Germany), e.g. from the DIBt wind zone map. For rooftop installation enter the building height.
Standard: anodised aluminium profiles, powder-coated panels, HSA3 inner lining (non-combustible, A1) with resonance cavity.

| Available external pressure | 50 Pa |
| Wind zone 2, inland, top edge 3.8 m | qp = 0.65 kN/m² |
| Wind force long side / end face | 15.4 / 9.0 kN |
