The alternative to a full enclosure: an absorptive noise barrier in the style of our enclosures – aluminium panels with HSA3 lining, open at the top, no pressure drop. Screening to DIN ISO 9613-2, TA Lärm check, wind load and budget price.

Several units side by side: enter the total length of the row. The noise source is assumed at the unit centre at fan height.
Lengths along the wall centre line. Bend = change of direction at the start of the segment; “towards unit” wraps the wall around the equipment. With “Free layout” up to 8 segments with 45° and 90° bends can be combined. Segments over 3 m are divided into equal modules of max. 3.0 m.
Built like our enclosures: base frame of anodised MiniTec 45 × 45 mm profiles, 1.5 mm powder-coated aluminium panels, HSA3 lining (A1) with resonance cavity. The top return tilts the edge towards the unit and increases screening without a taller wall. Absorptive on both sides where reflections on the far side matter (e.g. road traffic, terraces).
Optional: with sound power, distance and height of the receiver we calculate the screening of the wall and check the TA Lärm limits.
Height of the relevant window above the installation level: ground floor approx. 2 m, 1st floor approx. 5 m, 2nd floor approx. 8 m. The higher the receiver, the less the wall screens.
The MiniTec 45 × 45 mm base frame carries the panels; free-standing walls transfer the wind load via bracing or anchoring into the foundation or roof structure – sized according to structural verification.
Generated from your current design – ready to copy into your bill of quantities. Please check values before tendering.
All values are guide values. The binding design (acoustics, structure) is carried out per project by our engineering team. A noise barrier only screens towards the receiver – for high reductions or receivers in several directions a full enclosure is the better solution.
Your barrier configuration is sent along. We review the design for your project and usually reply with a quote within two working days.
